We welcome Dr. Nedra Barksdale to our staff. She will be starting in June, fresh and able to help your pet live a long and happy life.
We have a new option for helping you finance your pet's unexpected crises when it occurs at difficult economic times. CareCredit offers a variety of financing plans for virtually everyone. Within a few minutes, either online, over the phone, or in our clinic, you can enroll and be enabled to provide your pet with that suddenly necessary procedure. Just click the icon, below, for more information or to quickly get qualified. We have converted to a new computerized payment/receipt system, giving you an accurate description and breakdown of your pet's services. This enables us to give you a clearer explanation of what exactly we are providing for your pet. Computers, unfortunately, can sometimes give a cold impression. We have a human interface waiting to serve you. Dr.
Sefcik has moved on to the next phase of his life. He and his wife
have retired to a remote Caribbean island. They have been working
towards this goal for many years, and feel very fortunate to have
this opportunity. It was a heart-wrenching decision to leave his
family at AHAH. He is confident the staff he was leaving behind
could follow through with the care for his patients with the same
compassion and quality he and Dr. Camp initiated. There are plenty
of dogs and cats on the island who can keep Dr. Sefcik involved in
veterinary medicine. His veterinary life started years ago with an
internship in an SPCA hospital in Massachusetts, and his involvement
with the SPCA continues: he is on the board of directors for the Potcake
Foundation.
