We tend to forget where we were, what we struggled with for so long before this building and site. Feel free to review. The next few photos show early stages of this building. |

We moved in on Sunday, November 7, 1993. We kept our regular Sunday hours in the old building, closing at noon. With tremendous help from all our employees and their families, we moved from old to new in the next 14 hours. That Monday,November 8, we were open for patients at our normal time. |
There were many wonderful people involved in this project. Obviously Drs. Camp and Sefcik couldn't have done anything without the advice and help form countless people. Our past and present employees are the visible responsible parties. There were, and still are, many "invisible" wonderful people involved in this project. Richard Myers, our electrical engineer and friend, gave us the architect, Stan Obuchowski, who merged our scattered ideas into this functional, attractive building. He worked the impossible: getting this passed through the intractable Village of Arlington Heights Zoning. Todd Birch, a banker who gave needed support and guidance from the very beginning (we were real virgins regarding construction) through all the other very trying times during construction. Mr. Birch is the kind of banker who, when he changed banks, we moved our accounts with him. He is currently with the Village Bank & Trust in Arlington Heights. Our lawyer, Mr. Myron Greenbaum, keeps us out of jail, and our accountant, Mr. Alan Goldner, with Morris Goldner and Associates, keeps the IRS pacified.
Mrs.Laura Camp and Mrs. Janice Sefcik are mentioned last because they are in their own special category.
